Lemon Sago
A delicious and easy old fashioned dessert

- 1/2 cup sago
- 2 1/2 cups water
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Finely grated rind of 2 lemons
- 4 Tablespoons of sugar
- 3 Tablespoons of golden syrup
Put sago and water into slow cooker on high for 2 hours until sago is clear.
Stir occasionally.
(I used my 3 litre cooker but could have been smaller.)
Turn off and add all remaining ingredients.
Stir thoroughly and pour into serving bowl and chill.
Serve with cream.
