Ingredients
1kg diced beef
3tsp garlic
3tsp ginger
2 bay leaves
1x cup chicken stock
1tsp parsley
1tsp thyme
1tsp chilli paste
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
2tbs brown sugar
2tbs rice wine vinegar (white vinegar is also fine)
1 capsicum cut into strips
2x large carrots peeled and chopped
4-5 mushrooms sliced
1x large onion diced
Season with salt and pepper
Corn flour and water to thicken
Instructions
Brown Beef in a sauté pan. (Optional)
Add all ingredients and cook on low for 6-8 hours
About 20 minutes prior to serving have a taste and season with salt and pepper.
Add cornflour and water to thicken,I use about 3tbs of corn flour mixed with the same amount of water.
Remove bay leaves and serve with steamed or fried rice.
