A beautiful slow cooked roast leg of lamb, pulled then finished in a lush rich meat gravy!
Great for roast dinners, parties or self serving at functions :)
1-2 tablespoons of Masterfoods "Lamb Herbs" mix (Rosemary, garlic, marjoram, thyme, oregano, mint, basil - you'll find it with all the jars of herbs in your supermarket)
50g or 2 sachets of rich meat gravy powder (or your favourite roast lamb gravy)
1 cup water
Instructions
Place raw lamb leg into slow cooker and pierce all over with sharp knife
Season with Himalayan salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Spread minced garlic all over the top surface of lamb and rub in
Sprinkle with the mint sauce
Sprinkle with the Lamb Herbs
No liquid is needed, it will soon make plenty of it's own
Cook on low for 8hrs total
At 7.5hrs into cooking time, remove bone from lamb, shred meat into juices and add gravy powder and the additional 1 cup of water
Continue to cook for a further 30mins or until gravy is lovely and thick
Serve with your favourite roast vegetables or let others self serve onto bread rolls at your next party :)
