Chicken pieces - Marylands, drumsticks, thigh cutlets (see NOTE)
4 slices Bacon (approx 200g), chopped
1 Onion, diced
3 Garlic cloves
200g small Button Mushrooms, whole
250g Swiss Mushrooms, quartered
Baby Potatoes - 2 per person
100g Beans
1 tspn Chicken Stock powder
1 tspn Thyme leaves
1 tblspn Cornflour
Cracked Pepper
Salt
NOTE--
Note
I use 1 Maryland per person or 2 pieces per person if using other cuts
Garlic can be sliced, diced or crushed
Instructions
Place potatoes, bacon, onion, garlic and mushrooms in slow cooker bowl
Sprinkle stock powder and thyme over vegetables
Add chicken pieces
Cook on LOW ( Contempo 5.5L sc) for 5hrs
If you would like a thicker sauce transfer chicken and potatoes to a bowl. Mix cornflour with a small amount of liquid and add to slow cooker stirring through
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Return potatoes and chicken to slow cooker bowl with any liquid that may be in bowl
