Chunky chilli con carne

Serve with plain corn chips or tortillas and cheese, even some sour cream

Ingredients
 

  • 1kg gravy or chuck steak chunked
  • 1 brown onion peeled and sliced
  • 2x 400g tin of diced tomatoes
  • 3 tblsp of tomato paste
  • 1tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 cup Campbellā€™s beef stock
  • 4.5tsp cumin
  • 3tsp ground coriander
  • 2tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 400g tin kidney beans
  • Cheese to serve
  • And plain corn chips or tortillas

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients except kidney beans and cheese/chips and tortillas into slow cooker. Stirring occasionally
  • Cook on high for 4 hrs or low for 5-6hrs or when meat is tender, in the last half hour stir in the kidney beans.
  • Serve with plain corn chips or tortillas and cheese, even some sour cream
