  1. The look of disappointment on my hubbys face when I tell him we are having soup….
The look of astonishment on my face when he empties his bowl and asks for seconds.
In his own words “that was bloody good”
Thanks for your recipe Tara – it was really lovely

  2. Absolutely wonderful. Perfect for the two fussiest men in my house. Nice kick in every mouthful. Doubled the recipe to feed four. Only put 3/4 of the garlic in which was perfect for us.

  3. Made this up for the family and we loved it. Doubled the recipe and used dried chilli flakes instead of minced chilli. Even my toddler liked it

  4. I have made this soup a few times now. Absolutely love it. I use about 4 chillies but we like a real kick to it. Great recipe for any time of year.

  5. Made this tonight , pretty damn good and has encouraged me to go looking for more slow cooker soups on the site! I did also add half a tin of condensed tomato soup. Will definitely make again.

Will double the ingredients next time as one bowl isn’t enough as once you taste it you can’t stop!!!!.. also it certainly has a nice kick in it, Great for cold evenings.
