Tasty Chicken Lasagna
A beautiful chicken lasagna straight from your slow cooker
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken mince
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 tbsp pizza base sauce
- 1 jar Leggos Bolognaise sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 425g tub creamy cheese sauce
- 375g tub ricotta cheese
- 90g bag baby spinach, roughly chopped
- 1 box dried lasagna sheets
- Lots of pizza cheese
- Non stick oil spray
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan. Brown onion and garlic.
- Add chicken mince to pan, break up.
- Add carrot. Cook until mince is lightly browned.
- Add sugar and herbs. Add pizza and bolognaise sauces.Stir to combine. Then remove from heat.
- Combine Ricotta, cheese sauce and spinach in a bowl.
- Spray slow cooker with oil spray
- Spread 1/3 of bolognaise on bottom of slow cooker.
- Add a layer of lasagna sheets, breaking as necessary to fit.Layer over some bolognaise Layer some cheese sauceLayer over some cheese.
- Repeat layers.Top layer should end with cream sauce.
- Top with cheese
- Cook on low for 4 to 4 1/2 hrs (in 5.5L slow cooker)No need to use tea towel.
