Taco Mushroom Sausages

This is a quick and easy dinner, great for those cold nights. We served ours with creamy mash potato. Don’t be afraid to add other vege into the slow cooker.
You can keep the sausages whole or cut them up, it’s up to you.

  1. I love anything taco, so really wanted to try this. Definitely needs another packet of taco seasoning for that bit of extra flavour, also doesn’t need the water added to it.
Other then that it was good.

  2. I love anything taco.. So I had to give this one a try.
Next time I will add an extra packet of taco seasoning for that extra bit of flavour, and also no water it definitely didn’t need it.
Other then that it was a good dish.

  3. I’ve made this dish a few times b4 n it’s lovely but I always boil my sausages 1st, remove skins n cut into bite sized pieces b4 adding to the sc!!! I had a sml punnet of sliced mushrooms that I had to use up so I threw them in, in place of the tin champion mushrooms as I didn’t have any!!! I served it on potato, sweet potato n pumpkin mash, delicious!!! Thank you for sharing your recipe with us Melissa ???

I haven’t made this for a while n forgot how good this recipe is ?? I used a sml punnet of sliced mushrooms in place of a can of champion mushrooms, 1 tsp of minced garlic in place of crushed garlic n I always boil my sausages 1st, remove skins then cut into bite sized pieces, I had to thicken it at the end with a cornflour slurry n left the lid off til it thickened up to my liking, it’s sooo good ? this is an amazing recipe, thank you for sharing Melissa ?
