Sweet Chilli Chicken

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1.5 cups Sweet chilli sauce (I prefer Mae Ploy brand)
  • Optional: corn flour to thicken


  • I like to brown my drumsticks briefly to begin (this is optional)
  • Place drumsticks in slow cooker and pour over sauce.
  • Cook on low for 4hrs.
  • I then like to remove chicken and grill briefly under hot oven to crisp slightly while I thicken the sauce. (Again this is optional)
  • Add a corn flour slurry to sauce to thicken if you want it thicker
  • Serve chicken with jasmine rice and pak choy and pour over sauces

    Such an easy and tasty recipe enjoyed by all I have served it up to. My go to recipe when too tired to think of something for dinner as I always have the sweet chilli sauce in the pantry. If you want a bit more zing I cut down the sweet chilli and add a good squeeze of BBQ sauce.
