Steak and Black Bean Sauce ( home style )

  • Cook: 3 hrs
  • Yields: 4 - 6


1 kg rump steak

2 large onions cut in wedges

1 bottle of good quality black bean sauce

1 pk Asian style veges

2 pkt 2 min noodles, cooked


1Brown steak and onions in fry pan,

2Then add to sc with black bean sauce,

3Cook for 3-4hrs on high

41/2 hr before cooking is finished add veges,

5Then when cooked add your cooked noodles, always cook noodles before adding so the noodles don't soak up all your yummy sauce.

6Better than takeaway.

Really disappointed with this one. Neither of us ate much , the flavour was just too strong and nothing like takeaway. Maybe it was the brand of black bean sauce (Ayam) but it was the only one I could find in the supermarket . Otherwise follow directions but used chicken as protein, I don’t think it would have made a difference to the outcome. Big fail for us
