Spicy Italian Chicken in a Cream Cheese Sauce
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breasts (cubed)
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Italian Herbs
- 1 Medium Onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 cup Lite Italian Salad Dressing
- 1 can 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1.5 cups Baby Bella or Button Mushrooms (sliced)
- 1/2 cup Water
- 250 grams Fat Free Cream Cheese
- Frozen or Fresh Vegetables (Optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (except veggies) in your slow cooker and mix thoroughly.
- Turn on to low setting and cover and cook for 6hs.
- Half way through the cooking time stir again.
- If you find it too watery, roughly 30 minutes before you intend to serve add veggies and mix well. The amount you add is entirely up to you.
- If you don't wish to add them you can always serve the veggies as a side dish.
- Serve with a fresh tossed salad.
