Spicy Italian Chicken in a Cream Cheese Sauce

  • 1.5 kg Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breasts (cubed)
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Italian Herbs
  • 1 Medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Lite Italian Salad Dressing
  • 1 can 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1.5 cups Baby Bella or Button Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 250 grams Fat Free Cream Cheese
  • Frozen or Fresh Vegetables (Optional)


  • Combine all ingredients (except veggies) in your slow cooker and mix thoroughly.
  • Turn on to low setting and cover and cook for 6hs.
  • Half way through the cooking time stir again.
  • If you find it too watery, roughly 30 minutes before you intend to serve add veggies and mix well. The amount you add is entirely up to you.
  • If you don't wish to add them you can always serve the veggies as a side dish.
  • Serve with a fresh tossed salad.
  • Enjoy
