Spicy Lamb and Vegetable soup

Ingredients
 

  • 1kg Diced Lamb
  • 4 diced large carrots
  • 4 diced celery stalks
  • 1 tin chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tins diced tomatoes
  • 1 tin condensed tomato soup
  • 1 tin lentils
  • 4 diced onions
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 4 rashers diced bacon
  • 2 cups dry pasta
  • 8 cups beef stock
  • 1 diced zucchini
  • 2 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander seeds
  • 4 tsp smokey paprika
  • 2 gloves minced garlic
  • Salt/Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Brown lamb and add to slow cooker,
  • lightly fry onion, bacon and mushrooms and add to slow cooker.
  • Add all other ingredients except pasta to slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • 1 hour before finish, add pasta. Serve with fresh crusty bread.
