1kg lean beef mince

2 x 410g cans of Ardmona crushed tomatoes and paste with basil and garlic

2 x small onions diced

1 cup sliced mushrooms

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp beef stock powder

1/4 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs

1/3 cup bbq sauce

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


1Combine all ingredients in slow cooker bowl.

2Cook on low for 8hrs.

3Cook spaghetti separately in boiling water and serve with bolognaise sauce and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

4No need to pre brown the meat - though some prefer to do so - I prefer to use lean mince and skim any additional fat that rises to the top prior to stirring/serving :)

Tasty and easy. I load this with extra veggies and it is so yum! Hard to eat stove made bolognese sauce after experiencing this.
