Smokey BBQ meatballs

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 500g hamburger mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 tablespoons of parmasan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped oregano
  • handful of chopped chives
  • salt
  • 1 jar of Masterfoods Smokey BBQ meatballs


  • Put parsley, oregano, chives,garlic and onion into a food processor until chopped fine
  • Add this to the mince along with egg, cheese and salt for seasoning.
  • Form mixture into balls
  • Brown meatballs (I have a sunbeam sear and cook so just did it in there)
  • Place meatballs in slow cooker and add jar of Masterfoods Smokey BBQ meatballs. Add approximately a quarter of a jar of water to capture any left over Smokey BBQ sauce. Gently stir.
  • Cook on low for about 6 hours. Serve with rice...DELICIOUS!
