  1. Hi. I came across this recipe while I was looking for dump bags to do. Do I brown chicken and bacon then put in freezer with sauces? Or put in the bag raw with everything?

  2. Just prepared this for tomorrow ‘s dinner. Smells great. Just wondering though as it doesn’t seem like there’s much fluid. I like stuff saucy you know?

  3. Made this as a dump bag. Used yellow mustard instead of powder and omitted paprika because I’d run out lol. Very rich, went really well with rice. Kids gave it two thumbs up ?

  4. This was the one of a dozen or so different slowcooker dump bags I made before the arrival of #3. It was amazing! Everybody gave it the thumbs up and fussy miss 5 even asked for seconds. I’ll be making this one again. I did end up thickening the sauce with a little cornflour but otherwise followed the recipe exactly.

  5. Yum! So much flavour, this was a hit with the whole family, will definitely become a regular in our household.

  6. Really delicious! This has become a family favourite – even my fussy toddler loves it. I leave out the mustard as we don’t like it and I often double the BBQ and tomato sauces as we like a lot of sauce. I serve it with chips and coleslaw. This recipe also works cooking on high for 2.5 hours as I found out today when I forgot to put it on earlier (although I use diced chicken breast not thighs).

  7. I was a little concerned abot the lack of liquid and time at first so watched it. 3.5hrs and wow what a delicious meal. Totally enjoyed by all!

  8. This was definitely a family favourite. Miss 12 found it in the recipe book and she loved it. The only change I made was instead of mustard powder I used American mustard. Whoever made this recipe thanks heaps. ?

  9. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Served with the mash and steamed veg. Whole family gave a resounding 9/10, so I shall be making it again. Thank you Pauline!

  10. Delicious . I served it with mash and steamed veges. Would be nice with rice and greens too. Def making it again. FYI I did it as a dump bag recipe KISS

  11. Was a smash hit in our household. Hubby made it and the only change he made was put a little bit of smokey bbq sauce in with the bbq sauce

  12. Great recipe!! I even substituted lamb chops for the chicken (looked in the freezer and what I thought was chicken was actually lamb chops….. ). I added a bit of extra liquid and it was fabulous!

I hadn’t used my slow cooker in a long time.

I came across this recipe & it inspired me to get my slow cooker out again.

It didn’t disappoint it was absolutely delicious.

  14. We had this last night with mashed potato & mixed veggies!! It was so good, this will definitely be a new favorite meal….?

  15. Four stars because my teen son enjoyed this. I wasn’t a huge fan. That could be the bbq sauce I used or the tomato sauce. Next time I’ll try different ones. I’ll be making this again simply because he liked it so much.
