Slowcooker Lambs Fry

The best lambs fry you will ever eat!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Lambs fry
  • 1 Tbsp Arrowroot or cornflour
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 250g Bacon(optional)
  • 1 chicken stock cube 1 vegie stock cube dissolved in 500ml water
  • 3 Tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Slice your lambs fry(or ask butcher to do it)
  • Place in a bag with some arrowroot/cornflour & shake
  • Add to slow cooker with some sliced onion,bacon if you wish.
  • I made a gravy mix from 1 chicken & 1 vegie stock cube dissolved in 500 ml water,flavoured with BBQ & Worcestershire sauce & add 1-2 tbs arrowroot/cornflour then whisk well ~Use bought Gravox if you like
  • Pour over fry then cook on low, 4 hours, stirring a couple times

NOTES

  • You can if you want brown lambs fry,onion & bacon in a pan 1st but I never do (personal choice)
  • ENLOY!

  1. How thick do you slice the lamb’s fry? I was looking forward to this slow cook option, but the liver had virtually disintegrated in 3 hours. Quite tasty, but thin texture. Suggestions please.

    Simple and absolutely delicious!
    I used chicken livers and also fried up my onion with a little leek before adding all together in the SC. Came out wonderful and I’d definitely make it again.
