  1. What a hit with young and old. I browned the mince beforehand. Served with tacos and wraps, salad and salsa. Family scored it 11/10, safe to say I will be making it again, LOL!

  2. It’s just so easy. We have this quite regularly but I have never done it in the slow cooker, but changes are afoot. Really good mince not to wet not to dry just right. Flavour was good but next time will beef it up a bit. Thanks again for making life easier for me!

  3. Sounds great! If adding black bean or four bean mix and grated carrot and zucchini, would you put it all in at the same time?

  4. Would I add finely chopped onion to the raw mince at the beginning Paulene? I don’t wNt to brown anything…short on time tomorrow morning ?

  5. So delicious but sooo quick & easy! Made the house smell so nice! Used 1 1/2 packets of Taco mix which was perfect for our tastes and added 1 chopped small onion.

Another great favourite with our extended family. served in wraps with diced capsicum, tomato, carrot, shredded lettuce and grated cheese. Topped with taco salsa… yummo

Tonight’s dinner, so easy! I used a small jar of salsa instead of water. So flavourful. A wee bit too much liquid, but I just strained it off. From now on, this will be how I cook Mexican mince. Tonight we had it as nachos. Thanks Paulene.
