Packed full of flavour! Spices to delight your senses.

1kg Lamb Shanks
2 Onions roughly chopped
2tsp Ground Coriander
2tsp Ground Allspice
1tsp Minced Ginger
1tsp Minced Garlic
150g Halved Pitted Dates
1 Cup Beef Stock
1 x 400g tinned tomatoes
1Lightly brown lamb shanks.
2Add onions, ground coriander, cumin, allspice, ginger, garlic, dates, honey, tomatoes and stock to slow cooker and stir to combine.
3Add browned shanks.
4Cook on low for 9 hours or high or 4 hours.
1Served with a creamy parmesan polenta.
2Sauce could be thickened with cornflour once cooked.
3Would be amazing with mashed potato/sweet potato/pumpkin.
4Add or take out spices to taste.
5Could be done with all cuts of lamb.
