Seriously Good Lamb shanks
- 6 lamb shanks
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- Veges as desired
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 sachet of garlic and herb shanks (eg Masterfoods)
- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker.
- After 8 hours meat will be falling off the bone and sauce will be thick enough to pour over shanks once on the plate 🙂

Hey there! This looks lovely! Am new to slow cooking. Is 8 hrs on high or low?
I would cook this for 8hrs on low myself 🙂
Or even auto so the first two hours are high then it becomes low would work too
Thanks Paulene 🙂 With putting veggies in there, would you need to cut them up in bigger chunks so they don’t overcook? Or just the size you want them when you eat them?
I find root veg like potato etc take quite a while to cook so I tend to cut them in largish chunks to be sure they soften through .. for eg an average potato in 4-6 pieces if that makes sense? An alternative to sitting them in the liquid of the shanks is this method also Basic Veg .. but still put them in for most of the cooking time to be sure they are done if hard root type veg 🙂
