3 cups Self raising flour

1 teaspoon salt

100g Butter

1 cup milk

Filling: Diced bacon, baby spinach, cream cheese, grated cheese, minced garlic, lemon pepper seasoning to taste.


1Place first 3 ingredients into bowl and mix together till its like bread crumbs. Pour in milk. Knead together and roll out on lightly floured surface.

2Filling: I cooked bacon off first. On rolled out pastry use a spatula and cover with cream cheese, sprinkle with grated cheese, bacon, spinach, herbs etc. Cover all the way to the edges!

3Roll up carefully into a log, then slice about 1.5 inch thick.

4I sprinkle with poppy seeds.

5Line slow cooker with baking paper before cooking.

6Tastes great! Sc on high for just over 1.5 hrs.

7I plan on browning them off with cheese on top when I am ready to eat them
