  • 3 cups Self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100g Butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • Filling: Diced bacon, baby spinach, cream cheese, grated cheese, minced garlic, lemon pepper seasoning to taste.


  • Place first 3 ingredients into bowl and mix together till its like bread crumbs. Pour in milk. Knead together and roll out on lightly floured surface.
  • Filling: I cooked bacon off first. On rolled out pastry use a spatula and cover with cream cheese, sprinkle with grated cheese, bacon, spinach, herbs etc. Cover all the way to the edges!
  • Roll up carefully into a log, then slice about 1.5 inch thick.
  • I sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  • Line slow cooker with baking paper before cooking.
  • Tastes great! Sc on high for just over 1.5 hrs.
  • I plan on browning them off with cheese on top when I am ready to eat them
