  1. 10/10 one of my new favourite recipes. My partner and myself absolutely loved this dish and while it was cooking the house smelt amazing! 🙂

  2. Absolutely Devine. I cooked mine on low the whole time for 7hrs. Melted in our mouths, and so flavoursome.

  3. Yum and so easy. I didn’t have any tomato paste so used 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce instead. Made gravy using the juices instead of just drizzling over

  5. Hi
My piece of beef only weighs 500 grams how long to cook after searing. Very confusing on how long to cook for as it only a small piece of beef. Hope you can help please. My husband likes his bf well medium well done

  6. Yummmm after cooked, I skimmed fat off the top and added cornflour slew plus a squirt of American mustard and heated to a yummy gravy with a tang…will definitely make again

  7. Delicious!! Made this on Father’s Day and it was a hit. Cooked for 8hours on low as our joint was 1.8kg. Had leftovers for lunch. Sauce was great, could be done with so many other things. Thanks again Paulene.

  8. We thought this recipe was delicious. Didn’t make any changes except we used a 2kg roast. I cooked this on low for 8hrs the meat was tender and great taste.

  9. Don’t have beef stock so Ive’enriched’ some vegetable stock with some red wine. Looking forward to six oclock tonight!

  10. I’ve just made this courtesy of a meat raffle win. Definite keeper, beautiful and tender as well as flavoursome. Served with mashed potato, peas and spooned the juices over the lot. I will add I’m fairly particular, so I was pleasantly surprised with the success of this recipe.

  11. I made this for the first time and it was absolutely delicious ? I cooked it for about 6 hours in low and it was just so tender. Will definitely be doing it again

  12. Wow!! I have never never had a sirloin tip roast turn out so tender and full if flavor!!! This is a recipe I am passing on to my daughter,, she will absolutely love it!! Perfect for anyone who is onva tight budget and csn onky afford a cheap cut of meat. Melted in our mouths with mashed garluc potatoes, gravy, Brussels sprouts. Yum Yum!!!!!!

  13. Online shopping options meant I had a bolar blade roast which I hadn’t cooked before. This recipe was spot on., followed exactly. Nice tender meat and delicious sauce.

  14. I have made this without tomato paste (tomato allergy), swapped soy sauce for Worcestershire sauce & omitted the pepper (grandies don’t like pepper) & it is still very tasty.

  15. I added a bed of sliced onion under the beef but otherwise followed the we recipe to a T. So delicious and moist! After taking the beef out to rest, I skimmed the melted fat of the top of the sauce and whisked in a cornflour slurry to thicken the sauce a little
This was so delicious and juicy. I surpassed my expectations. I think the Worcestershire sauce really makes it meaty. Will definitely be making this again
