Ingredients
 

  • 1 package of instant type pudding mix- any flavor
  • 3 cups milk ( I used soy milk in this photo, works great)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • raisins if desired
  • vanilla

Instructions
 

  • In the slow cooker, mix pudding mix and milk.
  • Stir in rice.
  • Cook on low 3-4 hours or until thick.
  • This will thicken as it cools.

  1. This was delicious and definitely hit the spot as I had been craving thick and creamy rice pudding.
    I found that I couldn’t dissolve all the pudding mix properly at the beginning which did make small blobs of pudding throughout the rice pudding but that was mostly likely due to my whisking, so just a note that the mix wont just dissolve into the mixture whilst cooking.
    I cooked as per recipe with cows milk, no raisins and 2tps of vanilla. I cannot wait to make it again.

  2. I made this today and doubled the recepie as I had a lot of left over rice to use lol. Used a butterscotch instant pudding and it is really good. Is it ok the freeze the leftovers if there is any?
