Can you put the rice in uncooked in this recipe?
This recipe needs it to be cooked
Made this last weekend & found it needed a lot more milk as it was way to thick otherwise
Thankyou ?
What size slow cooker is everyone using ?
This was delicious and definitely hit the spot as I had been craving thick and creamy rice pudding.
I found that I couldn’t dissolve all the pudding mix properly at the beginning which did make small blobs of pudding throughout the rice pudding but that was mostly likely due to my whisking, so just a note that the mix wont just dissolve into the mixture whilst cooking.
I cooked as per recipe with cows milk, no raisins and 2tps of vanilla. I cannot wait to make it again.
I made this today and doubled the recepie as I had a lot of left over rice to use lol. Used a butterscotch instant pudding and it is really good. Is it ok the freeze the leftovers if there is any?
Love this rice pudding. Super easy !!! Make sure you dissolve the pudding mix in the milk first as per the recipe. I added cranberries, sultanas, raisins and coconut depending on what I had. Highly recommend this recipe.
