Rice pudding

  • Yields: Serves 2 bowls.

Ingredients

1 cup of water.

2 cups of milk.

1/2 cup of rice.

Cap full of vanilla essence.

4 tablespoons of sugar.

Directions

1Add all ingredients into slow cooker.

2Cook on high between 2 & 2 1/2hrs.

3Once cooking time is up turn slow cooker off & allow to cool for an 1 hr.

4Once served can sprinkle sugar or cinnamon on top.

5Serve with ice cream or anything you desire:

I normally use 4 cups of milk for this quantity of rice and its very thick.

I have made this twice now. The second time I put about a quarter cup of desiccated coconut and it was yummm. This recipe is foolproof. I love it. The texture and taste is perfect!!!
