Potato and Sweet Potato Bake
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 5 large or 10 small potatoes
- 1 large Sweet Potato
- 6 slices Shortcut Bacon chopped and cooked in frypan
- Fresh Chives chopped
- 300ml light cream
- 1pkt French Onion soup mix
- Handful of Grated Cheese
- Sprinkle of Parmesan
Instructions
- Slice potato and Sweet Potato thinly and arrange in layers in slow cooker (I used my 3.5 litre)
- Sprinkle half cooked bacon between layers.
- Combine Cream, Soup mix and half Chopped Chives in jug or bowl and pour over Potatoes.
- Sprinkle remaining Bacon and Chives on top.
- Cover with tea towel and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (Depending on temp of your cooker).
- 1 hour before ready I like to sprinkle a handful of grated cheese and a little Parmesan on top to finish off
