  1. Didnt add full amount of rice as stated in recipe, i added garlic granules to the sauce mix and its a big hit in this house great on pasta or served with garlic bread and a salad

  2. Made these for the first time in the slow cooker. Have had them before done in the oven. I much prefer the SC! So delicious, I would only add a little curry powder to the mince next time to boost flavour of the mince. Will make again 🙂

  3. Made these, last night. Did double batch as feeding men. Taste was just like the ones mum made many years ago. They even stayed as balls! Will use more soup next time, as boys like the sauce. Will be making again. Yum!!

Made these today , they were ready in 6 hours. The rice cooked through, they stayed in shape, I should have turned them over after a few hours as the bottom of some of them were a bit burnt. They tasted good but the sauce was a bit too rich for me.

  5. These were absolutely delicious! I added garlic powder, vegeta, onion salt, , double the garlic to the meat mix and also seasoned the soup and crushed tomatoes with herbs and garlic salt because I love ALL the garlic! Will definitely make these again!

  6. These were great! So easy and recipe fed 5 of us with left overs for another night!
Only thing I’d change is the sauce was a bit rich (I used condensed soup so that may be why…..) so next time I’ll play around with that. Maybe 1 tin of soup, 2 tins tomatoes.

Tried this last night with mash and veggies it was delicious some of the left overs we had on hot dog bread rolls tonight for a nice quick easy meal put the rest in the freezer for another time
    .thank you for the recipe?

  8. I have made these porcupine balls twice in the slow cooker and they turned out great. The 2nd time I peeled and cut into small pieces potatoes and carrots. I put them in the slow cooker, placed the balls on top and covered them with the big tin of Heinz tomato soup. Tasted great and made enough for 4 meals.

Cooked porcupine balls for first time today. Cooked on low for 8 hours and had it with potatoes, beans and a corn cobette. Mouth-wateringly delicious with leftovers for another three meals.
