pineapple jam
Ingredients
- 1kg pineapple
- 2 apples
- 4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- I pack jamsetter
Instructions
- Combine fruit and sugar
- Turn cooker on HIGH with lid on
- Place in slow cooker and stir occasionally
- Cook for approximately 4 hours
- Once fruit appears to thicken it's ready
- It will set better as your jam cools.

Are the apples green apples please
I made this Jam today, although very tasty, unfortunately it did not set. As per the jamsetta pack I added a second pack of jamsetta , following the instructions but, although a bit thicker, it was still not Jam consistency. I’m not sure what went wrong. Any suggestions Michele.
