Perfect Rice
Who needs a rice cooker when you can cook rice in your slow cooker!
Ingredients
- 1 cup of white rice ( or what rice you prefer)
- 2 cups of boiling water
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Put 1 cup of rice into the slow cooker.
- Add 2 cups of Boiling water.
- Pinch of salt
- Cook on high for 2 hours.
- Fluff at end
- — Notes
- I used the small slow cooker on the side of my 3 in 1
- No tea towel trick needed
- — Notes from Slow Cooker Central
- In really cold environments it can be a cracking risk to add boiling water to a cold ceramic slow cooker bowl. This is easily overcome by using some warm tap water to warm up the bowl a little first, then empty that out, then continue with recipe 🙂

Made rice to have with a curry and rice was so light and fluffy, was perfect. Made as per recipe and will definitely do again.
If I wanted to double the rice would I be correct in doubling the liquid??
Turned out great!
Super easy to have in my double slow cooker as a side dish ready when all my other dishes were ready ??
