Pepper Steak Pie
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1kg of beef steak, any cut you like
- Maggi beef goulash packet mix
- 2tbsp of tomato paste
- Cracked pepper corns
- Store brought frozen puff pastry sheets
Instructions
- Dice beef steak into cubes and add to s/c
- Sprinkle over cracked pepper corns
- Combine maggi beef goulash mix, 2tbsp of tomato paste, 3/4 cup of water & 1.5 tbsp cracked pepper corns
- Stir combined mix through the beef in the s/c
- Turn on low for about 8hrs or until meat is falling apart
- Once meat is ready, thaw out some puff pastry sheets and line a baking dish, then add the beef mixture
- Cover the pie with another pastry sheet for the lid, poking holes with a fork and then sprinkling with cracked pepper corns to finish
- Baking for a good 1-1.5hrs on 150degrees or until pastry is a nice golden brown 🙂

Great basic recipe. Found l need to thicken it a little which l did with gravox.
Next time ill add onion and mushroom as l feel it lacked alittle flavor.
