Pepper Steak Pie

1kg of beef steak, any cut you like

Maggi beef goulash packet mix

2tbsp of tomato paste

Cracked pepper corns

Store brought frozen puff pastry sheets


1Dice beef steak into cubes and add to s/c

2Sprinkle over cracked pepper corns

3Combine maggi beef goulash mix, 2tbsp of tomato paste, 3/4 cup of water & 1.5 tbsp cracked pepper corns

4Stir combined mix through the beef in the s/c

5Turn on low for about 8hrs or until meat is falling apart

6Once meat is ready, thaw out some puff pastry sheets and line a baking dish, then add the beef mixture

7Cover the pie with another pastry sheet for the lid, poking holes with a fork and then sprinkling with cracked pepper corns to finish

8Baking for a good 1-1.5hrs on 150degrees or until pastry is a nice golden brown 🙂

Made this tonight. So easy and really delicious!

Great basic recipe. Found l need to thicken it a little which l did with gravox.
Next time ill add onion and mushroom as l feel it lacked alittle flavor.
