Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
- 1kg tomatoes
- 4 celery sticks
- 3 carrots
- 1 onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 green capsicum
- 8 cloves of garlic
- Handful of fresh basil
- Two sprigs of fresh oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of water
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in slow cooker.
- 1 hr on high, 7 hrs on low.
- After use a stick mixer to blend up.

Delicious. So quick and easy. I had a load of tomatoes that needed using up, so threw it all in the slow cooker before work. I doubled the recipe, left out the water, because my tomatoes(straight from my neighbours garden ) are so juicy. Then into jars and water bathed to seal and preserve for using over Winter. This could be added to meat dishes, but would be delicious on its own with pasta too:-)
