"Pack A Punch" Bolognaise

A great way to enhance the good old bolognaise Certainly "packs a punch" so if you can't handle the heat this is not for you

Ingredients
 

  • 500g beef mince
  • 3 Tbs tomato paste
  • 1 x 800g tin tomatoes
  • 1 x large onion diced
  • 3 med. Tomatoes diced
  • 6 long chiilies(3 red/3 green) diced seeds & all
  • 6 garlic cloves crushed.....increase/decrease to your liking
  • Salt/pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Using my Breville 6 litre searing slowcooker on “gentle” sear I browned mince adding tomato paste a few minutes in then after a little longer added the onion & chillies then lastly the fresh tomato
  • Once browned I added the tinned tomatoes with salt/pepper to taste
  • Cook on low 4 hours
  • Could lessen chilli amount if wanted~Seeds also optional
  • Would work great with lamb or chicken mince too
  • Serve with spaghetti

  1. made this dish it was really nice i didn’t cook meat first i threw it all in the slow cooker to do its things
    my kids enjoyed this dish yummy
