Overnight Breakfast
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen hash browns
- 6 thick beef sausages ( I lightly browned them and then sliced long ways)
- 6 diced shallots
- 12 eggs
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper. ( I add spices too sometimes)
Instructions
- Spray your slow cooker.
- Place half the frozen hash browns on the bottom of a large slow cooker.
- Layer half the sausage , half the cheeses and half the onions . Then repeat , hash browns ,sausage , cheeses and onions.
- Whisk together eggs, milk and salt and pepper , drizzle over the top.
- Cook on low 8 hours overnight.

Yum! Everyone at my staff breakfast loved this.
I loved having a recipe that I could put on at night and serve at breakfast. The flavours worked well together. I added diced bacon to the top as an extra. I didn’t brown the sausages or bacon, next time I will.
What can I replace tbe sausages with ?? Much appreciated thank you ? ?
