  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 table spoon finely grated orange rind.
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 2 tablespoons poppyseeds
  • 1/3 cup milk


  • Preheat heat sc and line with baking paper.
  • Mix altogether and put a tea towel under the lid!
  • Cook on high for 2hrs

    My variant on this is to use 8 g of skim milk powder and 1/3 cup orange juice, from the orange I grated to get the orange rind instead of 1/3 cup of milk.
