Mulled Cider

Ingredients
- 3L Cider
- 2 large oranges
- 2 large red apples
- 1 large cinnamon stick
- Whole cloves
- 2 lemons
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- Pinch nutmeg
Instructions
- Poke 6 whole cloves each into the apples and oranges and add to cooker with cider, sugar,1 sliced lemon, and cinnamon stick.
- Cook on high for 1 hour then add nutmeg and cook on low for a further 2 hours.
- Taste and add more sugar if needed. Cook on low for one more hour.
- Turn off and leave to cool. Remove whole ingredients and strain the liquid. Add thin slices from the second lemon and serve warm or chilled.
