Minced beef hash
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- Pound (0.5kg) of lean beef steak mince
- Tin of chopped tomatoes
- Tin of condensed cream of tomato soup
- One medium onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 heaped teaspoon of English mustard
- 2 tablespoons of Worcester sauce
- 1 beef stock cube dissolved in half a cup of boiling water
- 2 tablespoons of instant beef gravy
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Frozen hash browns to cover (about 10)
- Grated cheese (approx 100g)
Instructions
- Mix everything together apart from hash browns and cheese.
- Transfer to slow cooker.
- Top with hash browns.
- Cook on LOW for 3 hours with a tea towel under the lid.
- Top with grated cheese and cook for another half an hour.
- Brown under grill if desired.

This was okay, but was a little disappointed in it
Made this last night, used 1kg mince as I like a big cook up, added carrot and peas, left out the garlic as my daughter hates it and used a different mustard (just what I had on hand.) It tasted amazing and my fussy daughter even ate it.
