Melting sticky pork rashers
Serving: 3
Ingredients
- 650 grams pork rashers
- 2tbsp brown sugar
- 1tsp mince garlic
- 1tsp black pepper
- 4 star anise
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 3tbsp light soy sauce
- 3tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2tsp Chinese five spice
- 250ml rice wine
- 2tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Cut pork rashers into 1 inch pieces and add to slow cooker.
- Combine all ingredients and mix well and pour over pork.
- Slow cooker on high for 3 and a half hours turning pork every hour.
- Turn down to low for last 30 minutes while making your side dishes.
- Please note tea towel under the lid after 2 hours.

Love this recipe. Have already made it twice. Delicious Asian flavours, melting tender pork all with minimal prep time. Will be made many more times I am certain.
