Melt in the mouth shortbread biscuits
Serving: 24
Ingredients
- 200g unsalted butter softened
- 200g caster sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 400g plain flour
Instructions
- Beat together sugar and butter then beat in egg and adding vanilla, followed by flour,
- Use hands to mix in dough in to a ball
- Wrap in glad wrap and refrigerate for an hour
- Roll out into 5mm thickness and cut into desired shapes
- Put on to a grease proof paper lined tray and refrigerate agin for 30mins
- Line SC with grease proof paper and place in biscuits, on high for 30mins with tea towel under lid
- Decorate as desired when cooled
