  • Sunbeam 6L Slow Cooker


  • 500 grams diced/cubed beef
  • 2 Tbsp plain flour
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 2 x 220gms cans of Edgel sliced mushrooms in butter sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp cream (optional)


  • Dust beef in flour
  • Lightly brown meat in oil and sweat onions and garlic (ie cook them briefly to soften)
  • Add beef, onions and garlic to the slow cooker now
  • Add canned mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and paprika to slow cooker
  • Mix altogether and season with salt and pepper
  • Cook on low for 4 hours until meat is tender
  • (Optional) stir through cream prior to serving
  • Serve with mash potato and side veg
