Lemonade scones
Ingredients
- 3 cups self-raising flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup lemonade
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together.
- Roll out onto floured kneading board.
- Using scone cutter, cut scones.
- Line slow cooker with baking paper.
- Place scones in cooker.
- Put tea towel under lid.
- Cook on high.

Hi was this a normal cup you drink out of are a measure cup as i have just done these but very sticky
Always use measuring cups for recipes
I’ve used this recipe before with great results & used soda water for a savoury variety.
Looks like I used the wrong cream because my dough was too wet and not rollable 🙁 even after adding more than half a cup of flour.
Going to do these this week what cream do you use. /single /double or could you use cream flence. And can you use a normal cup
Would sparkling mineral water too?
I think so – it’ll just be missing the sweet though
Mine needed a lot longer than 1hr and didn’t rise vey much
