Slow Cooker Lasagna
Serving: 5
Ingredients
Meat/ sauce
- - 2 bottles of Passata cooking sauce
- - 2 tubs of pizza sauce
- - 1 1/2 packets of lasagna sheets
- -1kg mince
- -2 tablespoons of mince garlic
- -3 carrots, grated
- -Italian herbs
- -Mixed herbs
- -Salt and pepper to taste
Bechamel Sauce :
- - 3 cups of milk
- - 2 tablespoons of butter
- - 1/3 cup of plain flour
- - 1/2 cup of grated cheese
- - extra grated cheese for the top
Instructions
- Brown mince with garlic and carrots in a fry pan.
- Add in sauce and rest of ingredients and cook for 10 minutes while you get the bechamel sauce ready.
- For the bechamel sauce, add all ingredients - except cheese - into a bowel and stir.
- Put in the microwave for 3 mins (my microwave is 1000 watts). Stir after and add cheese, giving it a good whisk. It should thicken if it doesn't, add some more flour.
- Once that is done, grease slow cooker and add everything into slow cooker like you would normally. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Then sprinkle grated cheese on top and cook for a further 30 mins.
- Turn off the slow cooker and let it sit for 10-15 mins. Then serve. And enjoy!!
- Depending on how hot your slow cooker gets my alter the cooking time. Suggested time is 6-7 hours.

Do you use the dried lasagne sheets, or the refrigerated ones (e.g. Latina)?
Going to give this a go tomorrow. X
