Lambs Fry
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1 whole lambs fry sliced thin
- 1 onion sliced thin
- 3 bacon rashers cut into bite size pieces
- Gravox
Instructions
- Sear lambs fry, onion and bacon, place in slow cooker and make up gravy to cover.
- Cover with lid and cook for 4hrs on low, stir a few times during cooking

I made this on Sunday and it was delicious. I did fry the onions bacon and liver first. For gravy i used Bisto and it had a good flavour. Found it only needed 3 hours. But i did slice the liver thin.
I normally cook lambsfry & bacon with tomatoes in the fry pan. I needed something for the slow cooker, this was really nice & will be a regular on our menu for sure. Ì sliced lambsfry about 2 cm thick & found 4 hrs was good. Thankýou

Why did the liver disappear when cooked for five hours did some overnight in salt and water
I haven’t tried this recipe yet but if you cut up a lambs heart and ad it to the recipe it is really nice addition
Did you skin it first?
I haven’t made it for years but looks like I will be cooking it more often.. can someone tell me if u skin it or soak it before putting it in the cooker
