  • Yields: 8 Tacos


2 Lb Whole Beef (907g I just used a Kg) Pork or chicken can also be used

5 cloves crushed garlic

¼ onion diced

1/3 cup brown sugar

¼ cup soy sauce

1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar (white wine vinegar will work too)

1 tsp sesame oil

¼ inch fresh ginger root peeled and grated

Jalapeno diced (optional)

8 flour tortillas

Salad made of lettuce and carrot but you can put any salad you want


1Put meat in slow cooker.

2Mix garlic, onion, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger and jalapeno if youre adding them.

3Tip over meat and cook on low for 8 hours.

4Remove meat and shred or cut then add back to sauce.

5Serve on a tortilla with salad.

I’ve been wanting to try this recipe for awhile now, I’m glad I did. So tasty and so easy to prepare. I used beef strips and cooked for 4 1/2 hours. Served on wraps with salad. Delish 👌🏻
