Kickin Sausage Hotpot
A very spicy Sausage Hotpot, easy to prep, cook, versatile for serving
Serving: 8
Ingredients
- 6 thick gourmet beef sausages
- 6 thin bbq sausages
- 150g bacon pieces
- 2 onions
- 2 tsps minced garlic
- 3 chillis, chopped
- 1 packet Masterfoods Sausage Hotpot sc sauce
- 1 bottle Beerenberg pepper shot bbq sauce
- 2 cups water
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 x 800g packet frozen vegies (or thereabouts)
Instructions
- Brown sausages , set aside to cool then chop them as you as you wish
- Brown the onion and each 30 seconds add onion, bacon, chilli, garlic and Worcestershire sauce
- Add chopped snags to 6.5l sc
- Add browned veg to sc
- Pour frozen veg into sc
- Mix sauce packet, bbq sauce and water
- Pour into sc and gently stir to mix
- Cook on low 8 hours
- Served with wedges but would also be great with potato or cauli mashes, and / or crusty bread rolls
