    4 hrs 20 mins

  • Yields: 3 servings (or as many as you need)

As many potatos as you need (I only do 1 layer)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Filling of your choice (cheese/sourcream/garlic butter/bolognaise sauce)

1Wash the potato, but leave the skin on

2Lightly rub with olive oil

3Prick the potatoes with about 4 -5 knife pricks

4Lightly spray aluminum foil with spray

5Wrap each potato in the foil

6I place a small rack inside my slow cooker and then place the potatoes on top of the rack

7I then put about an inch of water in the bottom, I do check the water level while it's cooking

8I cook them for 4:15 on high

1Fill them with your own choice of fillings

2I used a 5.5 Litre Contempo Slow Cooker which cooks fast

3All slow cookers cook at different temps, and potatoes may take longer in some

4Check with your manual if you can 'dry-cook' your slow cooker. I prefer to place the water in the bottom, and elevate the potatoes

5You can top your potatoes with whatever you choose.

6I used leftover bolognaise sauce using this recipe Quick Easy Spaghetti Bolognaise

You need the rack to elevate them above the water so try an upturned bowl or dish instead 🙂

I don’t have a small rack, would it still works without it or what else can I use?

Brenda, My potatos were slightly larger than tennis balls, so if you use larger potatoes, then you will need to add more cooking time.
