Italian Steak and Chorizo
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 700g blade steak
- 130g chorizo sliced
- 100g sliced mushrooms
- 1 Tablespoon freshly chopped Basil
- 1 teaspoon freshly chopped Oregano
- 1 teaspoon freshly chopped Thyme
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 100g diced capsicum
Instructions
- Layer ingredients into slow cooker bowl as listed EXCEPT capsicum.
- Place cooker lid on.
- Turn cooker on HIGH for 4 hours.
- Add capsicum 1/2 hour before cook end time.
- Replace lid and finish cook time.
Notes
- Remove steak using flat lifter.
- Serve with fresh vegetables or healthy salad.
- Omit capsicum if desired. I used it as an extra flavour gusto.

This is a new favourite in our house. The boys loved it! We did mash and mixed veg with it and it was perfect. Just the right amount of flavour and the steak fell apart.
Is the steak in this recipe a whole piece, or sliced/diced? I have a whole piece 😀
