Ingredients
 

  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 500g sausage mince
  • 1 kg beef mince meat
  • SAUCE
  • 445ml tomato sauce
  • 177ml tomato paste
  • 1 small onion, diced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup water
  • Dry parsley flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • 1) In a large bowl, combine eggs and milk, add the breadcrumbs, cheese, salt and pepper and garlic. Add beef and sausage mince and mix well. Shape Into 1 inch balls ( around ping pong ball size), and brown lightly in a frying pan, and transfer to the slow cooker.
  • 2) In another bowl, combine the tomato sauce, paste, onion, broth, water, seasoning and parsley flakes. Mix well and pour over meatballs.
  • 3) Cook for 4 - 5 hours on HIGH
