Honey,Soy and Garlic Pork

~ 1 kg of any cut of pork you like

~ 1/4 cup light soy sauce

~ 4 tablespoons of honey

~ 1 tablespoon of garlic

~ 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce

~ 1/4 cup of brown sugar

~ 2 tablespoons of cornflour with a bit of water (make paste)


1~ Put pork in slow cooker

2~ put all other ingredients into a glass jug mix including cornflour paste

3~ pour over meat

4~ put tea towel under the lid

5~ cook on high for 4 hours then low of 1 hour

6~ place meat under gill to brown to taste

I’ve had this recipe bookmarked for a while now and finally got around to making it and so glad I did. I made less sauce given I had less than 1kg of meat, but there was still plenty and tasted delicious. I’ll be making it again!

Wow wow wow!
This was just amazing! We used pork rashers and they were cooked perfectly. There was a good amount of sauce and the flavors were spot on!
This will definitely become part of our regular rotation!
