Honey,Soy and Garlic Pork

Ingredients
 

  • ~ 1 kg of any cut of pork you like
  • ~ 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • ~ 4 tablespoons of honey
  • ~ 1 tablespoon of garlic
  • ~ 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
  • ~ 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • ~ 2 tablespoons of cornflour with a bit of water (make paste)

Instructions
 

  • ~ Put pork in slow cooker
  • ~ put all other ingredients into a glass jug mix including cornflour paste
  • ~ pour over meat
  • ~ put tea towel under the lid
  • ~ cook on high for 4 hours then low of 1 hour
  • ~ place meat under gill to brown to taste
  • ~enjoy

    This was just amazing! We used pork rashers and they were cooked perfectly. There was a good amount of sauce and the flavors were spot on!
    This will definitely become part of our regular rotation!

  2. I’ve had this recipe bookmarked for a while now and finally got around to making it and so glad I did. I made less sauce given I had less than 1kg of meat, but there was still plenty and tasted delicious. I’ll be making it again!
