DINNER W I N N E R
This delicious chicken recipe with a few twists
With these alterations
I swapped wings to 1.2kg diced boneless chicken (I had breast today but I usually prefer thigh)
Reduced the regular salty soy down to 1Tbsp
Lightly sealed the chicken & cooked on low 2hrs
Garnished with sliced green onion & sesame seeds
Served with rice & steamed broccolini
Family thought this one is very tasty.
Enjoyed this version tonight 🙂
Tip ✔️
When mixing peanut butter into a pouring mix, give it 30secs in the microwave first to bring it to it to an easy liquid mixing consistency first then it’s smooth & runny and easy to combine with other ingredients 🥄
• I used drumsticks instead of wings (10)
• I reduced the regular soy sauce to half
• I simply poured it all over the chicken on top
• I served it on potato & chive mash
What is Kecap Manis? Prfob ably not available here (Canada), but if I know what it is I might be able to think of something similar to use as a substitute.
It’s a sweet syrupy style of soy sauce, not thin and salty like a regular soy
We had this meal tonight. Will definitely be making it again. So yummy. I used Drumsticks instead of wings & served it with rice. Hubby loved it.

what would an alternative be for the peanut butter as we can’t have it due to allergy
