Honey butter veggies

  • Yields: 4


1/4 head of broccoli

5 medium potatoes

1/4 pumpkin

2 carrots

4 corn cobs

2 handfulls of beans

3-5 tablespoons of butter

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

3 tablespoons honey


1Dice veggies as desired.

2Add butter, honey and powders and mix through veg.

3Cook for 2.5 hours on high

4I stirred occasionally and drizzled some butter sauce over the veg when I served

This is such a delicious recipe. So quick and so tasty. I also added cherry tomatoes. Highly recommend although allow longer cooking time if you want super soft veg.

If your cooker is a little slower than norm a good idea is to cut them a little smaller next time 🙂 And keep heat up to high a little longer if needed x

Didn’t cook in time specified, had to chuck in oven on high heat so that some of the veg was ready for dinner. Good flavour though.

Made this but used Honey Mustard marinade, instead of honey. Wasn’t the pretties dish once finished, but it tasted nice and was easy to prepare. Whole family enjoyed this. Thanks for a lovely recipe.
