Honey Apricot Pork

Ingredients
 

  • 1.5kg pork roast
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 tinned apricot halves in juice
  • 1 apple diced
  • 1/4 pkt french onion soup
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Gravox to thicken (I used chicken)

Instructions
 

  • Place everything into slow cooker and cook on high for 2 hours and low for 4 hours.
  • Take out meat and place in a hot oven for approximately 1 hour or until crackle is done.
  • Puree the sauce and thicken with some gravox.
  • Serve with your fav roast veg

  1. Would this be better to take the fat off for the crackle? Or would it still be ok keeping it on and not making the roast dry at all? Also how high do you out it on for the crackle?
